LA CURCUMINE: star ayurvédique et épices des dieux

La curcumine c’est quoi ?
En sanscrit, le curcuma se nomme haridra.
En arabe, il porte de nom de Kourkoum d’où vient d’ailleurs le nom français.
Le curcuma longa est utilisé de façon intensive dans la médecine ayurvédique et chinoise. C’est aussi le principal ingrédient du curry, mélange d’épices omniprésent dans la cuisine indienne.
La curcumine est un agent anti-oxydant très puissant. Il est doté de plus de capacités anti-inflammatoires exceptionnelles. Il joue aussi un rôle prépondérant dans la détoxification cellulaire.
En Inde, on consomme de 2 à 4 grammes de poudre séchée de racine de curcuma longa chaque jour. De cette racine, on extrait les substances actives : les curcuminoïdes (curcumine) qui sont présents à des taux allant de 1 à 5 % maximum, c’est à dire que pour obtenir 200 mg de curcumine pure, il faut de 4 à 20 grammes de poudre de racine de curcuma longa.
La curcumine extraite du curcuma a démontré dans plus de 6000 études scientifiques, la puissance exceptionnelle de son action anti-inflammatoire naturelle, anti-oxydante, anti-fongique et anti-virale.
Cette molécule qualifiée d'intelligente pour son action ciblée et systémique contre toute forme d'inflammation agit sur un spectre quasi illimité d'inflammations dans notre organisme.
Quelques 20 études nouvelles sont lancées chaque mois depuis la fin des années 2010/2012, ce qui prouve un engouement scientifique sans équivalent.
La curcumine ou dyferuloyméthane est le pigment polyphénolique principal du curcuma qui comprend plusieurs curcuminoïdes indissociables ( hormis à but d'analyses scientifiques)
De nombreuses études ont montrés que la curcumine a de vastes fonctions biologiques notamment anti-oxydantes et anti-inflammatoires . En fait, il a été établi que la curcumine est un anti-oxydant bifonctionnel : la curcumine exerce une action anti-oxydante directement et indirectement par un balayage des réactifs à l'oxygène et à induire une réponse anti-oxydante , respectivement pour son propre contenu que pour le terrain où elle interagit: un vrai miracle de la nature.
Tous les essais qui ont été réalisés sur l'homme ont montré que la curcumine utilisée seule est rapidement éliminée par l'organisme. La pipérine est capable d'inhiber les voies d'élimination de la curcumine et ainsi de multiplier sa biodisponibilité par un facteur 20, ainsi que le gingembre.

Vérifiez bien le dosage en curcumine pure contenu dans le complément alimentaire que vous souhaitez prendre. Curcumine et poudre de curcuma longa, c’est totalement différent.
Il faut de 20 à 100 mg de poudre de curcuma (suivant la qualité des extraits) pour obtenir 1 mg de curcumine.
Certains extraits contiennent les 3 curcuminoïdes de la plante et ce point est à privilégier.
La curcumine est beaucoup mieux absorbée en présence de pipérine (extrait de poivre).
Pour les indications digestives, il est intéressant de coupler l’action de la curcumine avec un probiotique de type lactobacille qui rééquilibrera la flore intestinale.
